As a teacher, selflessness can feel like part of the job description. But let’s take a moment to consider how traveling with EF can impact you—as an educator, as a leader of student travel experiences, and yes, as a person, too.
Start earning Global Rewards Points as soon as you start enrolling students. Then redeem them after your first tour for incredible rewards ranging from educator-only conventions—in places like the French Riviera, Rwanda, and South Korea—to personal vacations in the destination of your choice to student travel scholarships.
P.S. If you’re willing to shed a few happy tears, read how educators Caitlin and Tim put their points to use.
EF offers a wide range of opportunities to connect with other globally minded teachers and grow as an educator. After all, in order to help your students become lifelong learners, you need to be one yourself.
Meet fellow educators at EF’s Global Education Symposium, get access to exclusive events like the Nobel Prize Teacher Summit, or go on a teacher-only professional learning tour.
Get credit for growing
Earn up to six graduate-level credits or 45 professional learning hours or points—all while exploring new destinations. See details here.
Get a chance to give back
Invest even further in your school community by using your Global Rewards Points to fund a full or partial tour scholarship for a deserving student traveler.
Experience a tour before you lead one
Once enrollment is underway, first-time Group Leaders are welcomed to the EF family on a free training tour to places like San Francisco, New York, and Washington, D.C. There, teachers learn from both EF staffers and Educational Travel Advisors (experienced Group Leaders who often serve as mentors throughout the planning process). Our training tours give you a taste of what your own tour will look like—and most importantly, make you feel prepared and confident before you lead your students on tour.
While you’ll walk away from tour with many tangible rewards, the most important one is the life-changing impact you’ll make on your students. You’ll help them prepare for the future by helping them learn more about the world, themselves, and their place in the world. Plus, they just might get their first taste of a New York slice. And that’s also truly life-changing.
One more thing
For every 10 travelers you enroll, you get a free spot on tour. That means you can travel for free and bring along your dream team of chaperones. Oh, and you might suddenly become the most popular person in the teacher’s room.
