Created in collaboration with the United Nations Association of the USA, a program of the UN Foundation, this three-part virtual series will give educators the chance to discover real-world applications of the UN 2030 Sustainable Agenda and their connection to educational travel. You’ll also gain access to strategies that utilize the Sustainable Development Goals to promote college and career readiness in your classroom. Participants will even have the chance to attend an interactive meeting with Spokesperson to the UN Secretary General, Stéphane Dujarric.

Session 1: Create a lesson plan
Learn about the Sustainable Development Goals from the experts and have an interactive conversation with Stéphane Dujarric, Spokesperson to the UN Secretary General. This session will inspire you to create a SDG-based lesson of your own.

Session 2: Collaborate, review, and refine
Present your lesson or unit plan ideas to cohort peers, and make adjustments before implementing with your students.

Session 3: Get feedback and go further
How did it go? Present a snapshot of your lesson or unit plan, and receive feedback from a UN Foundation Panel. Options for additional credits will be revealed here for educators who’d like to take these learnings even further!
