Arizona
Get ready for a zero-waste, off-the-grid adventure. This volunteer trip is a natural learning experience that places you in the foothills of the Patagonia Mountains in Arizona, where you’ll enjoy the environmentally friendly lifestyle at the Windsong Peace and Leadership Center. Head to the border and talk with Border Patrol Agents, Mexican-American students and leaders of the community to get a cross-cultural perspective on immigration and the impact that stereotypes have played in the U.S. Work with community centers to help increase awareness back home and prevent these myths from spreading.
